Most of us are familiar with the benefits of probiotics including support for digestive issues, food intolerances, immune function, and general well-being. But what's much less well known is that certain strains can help lower cholesterol and produce significant weight reductions.
Probiotics can help support weight loss in general (see Genestra's related product, HMF Metabolic), and they can work to reduce abdominal fat in particular, especially when bolstered with certain plant extracts, in the combination featured in HMF Fitness.
As we age, not only do many of us develop a "spare tire" around the middle even if we exercise and eat right, but the number of some of the more beneficial types of bacteria in our digestive system may also start to drop off, which could lead to problems like inflammatory bowel disease.
Genestra Brands HMF Fitness tackles both those issues at once with a solid combination of effective human-sourced probiotics and a special blend of food-based extracts clinically proven to be able to reduce abdominal body fat.
The other half of this shelf-stable HMF Fitness combination is a special blend of concentrated extracts from a several types of citrus fruits and guarana seeds (an Amazonian plant). There have been at least three published placebo-controlled trials to date (two in North America, and one in Korea) showing this specific combination decreased total body weight, abdominal body fat, and the circumference of people's waist and hips significantly more than the placebo group after 12 weeks of use, when both groups also followed a calorie-reduced diet and engaged in regular physical activity.
Part of the explanation for this supported by other research is likely that the bioflavonoids in these types of citrus fruits can help support a metabolic process called lipolysis, where the triglycerides (lipids) stored in your fat cells get broken back down into the glycerol and free fatty acids which formed them.
If you are also restricting your calories and exercising, those can both be taken up to be used as energy by your body (rather than getting converted back to fat again); this is the same sort of metabolic process which goes on among those following a keto or ketogenic diet.

A 15 billion CFU Probiotic Consortium, consisting of:
- 9.375 Billion CFU Lactobacillus acidophilus (CUL-60 & CUL-21)
- 3.125 Billion CFU Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (CUL-34) & Bifidobacterium bifidum (CUL-20)
- 2.5 Billion CFU Lactiplantibacillus plantarum (CUL-66)
A 450 mg Sinetrol Citrus & Guarana Standard Extract Blend (20% Bioflavonoids & 1-4% Caffeine), consisting of:
- 270 mg Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) Fruit and Peel Extract (50:1; 13.5 g Dried Equivalent), providing 90 mg Bioflavonoids
- 67.5 mg Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis) Fruit and Peel Extract (50:1; 3.375 g Dried Equivalent)
- 22.5 mg Blood Orange (Citrus sinensis) Fruit and Peel Extract (50:1; 1.125 g Dried Equivalent)
- 90 mg Guarana (Paullinia cupana) Seed Extract (4:1; 360 mg Dried Equivalent)
Other ingredients: Hypromellose, cellulose, silica, plus these ingredients to maintain the viability of the probiotics: dipotassium phosphate, monopotassium phosphate, trehalose, sucrose.

Suggested Usage:
