Quercetin is great natural ingredient with several well-established uses, including reducing seasonal allergy symptoms, supporting the immune system, and protecting small blood vessels, and an up and coming one in combating viral infections. Natural Factors Quercetin LipoMicel Matrix is up to 10x more absorbable than conventional quercetin supplements.

Product Notes:

Up to 10x Higher Absorption

Normally, very large amounts of quercetin are nutritionally required to achieve some its health benefits because it's not very "bioavailable" or easy for the body to take up and use, since it's not water-soluble.

Natural Factors Quercetin LipoMicel Matrix overcomes that problem with a patent-pending technology which delivers it in tiny droplets just a few microns in size already surrounded by food fat, making it much easier for the body to absorb effectively.

A Powerful Antioxidant & Antiviral Supplement

Quercetin is a "bioflavonoid" or type of plant pigment found in many foods such as apples and red onions which is commonly used primarily to support the immune system and relieve seasonal allergy symptoms. Studies have shown it has strong antioxidant properties and can also reduce the body's inflammatory response and reduce systolic blood pressure (SBP), which all support another of its longstanding uses: as a natural means of protecting small blood vessels.

Quercetin also appears to have antiviral effects (it helps prevent certain viruses from replicating), especially when used in conjunction with Vitamin C. And although it is normally difficult to absorb due to its fat- rather than water-soluble form, this special liposomal type from Natural Factors has been rendered into tiny little droplets (called 'micelles') suspended in plant-based oils, to make it up to ten times more absorbable than standard forms. (Individual results may vary).
