As nutritional support, licorice root is believed to decrease swelling, thin out mucus secretions, decrease coughs, and increase the compounds which help to heal ulcers.

Each capsule contains:
450 mg Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) (dried roots).
Other ingredients: Capsule (gelatin, water), Stearic Acid.
Free of yeast, wheat, corn, soy, milk, preservatives, additives. Natural colour variations may occur in this product.
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take 3 capsules, 3 times daily, with water, for up to 4 to 6 weeks.
Warnings:
Long term, high level use is NOT recommended. Do not use NOW Licorice Root capsules if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; or if you have impaired kidney or liver functions, high blood pressure, heart disease; or if you are a man with decreased libido. Consult a health care practitioner before taking if you have diabetes or hypokalemia; or if you are taking any kind of hormonal therapies, diuretics, potassium depleting agents or MAO inhibitors.
