Skin wounds are prone to becoming infected by bacteria, which delays their healing. For larger wounds or first- or second-degree burns where you'll need to be applying a secondary dressing over it to protect it from pollutants and to keep a salve in place, Silver Biotics Armor Gel can help.
The SilverSol Technology at the heart of Silver Biotics products consist of a metallic nano-particle with a thin, silver-oxide coating. In contrast to a standard ionic or colloidal silver particle which can only strip away one electron from a bacterium it encounters before it becomes ineffective as an antimicrobial, and which can be metabolized and get retained in the body, these SilverSol particles can steal multiple electrons and keep at it all day, before leaving the body within 24 hours, making them both safer and more effective.
Armor Gel uses that same Patented Nano Silver Technology along with just a bare minimum of ingredients (just two, besides water: Triethanoamine, as an emulsifying agent, and Carbomer, to form the gel) to use in moist wound care management, to guard against infections from bacteria, fungus and yeast.
Lab tests indicate it's effective against the following micro-organisms: Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Escherichia coli (E. coli), Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida albicans and Aspergillum niger.

Medicinal ingredient: Silver: 24 mcg/ml
Non-medicinal ingredients: Purified water, Triethanolamine, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkylate Crosspolymer.
Suggested Usage:
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
Clean wound. Use clean applicator to liberally cover the wound with Armor Gel and secondary dressing.
Do not use in wounds or on chapped/cracked skin that involve more than the superficial layers of the skin.
Warnings:
Keep packages out of reach of children. Do not use Armor Gel if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have any allergic reaction to trace minerals.
Silver accumulation (resulting from excessive intake of silver over long periods of time) may lead to argyria, a bluish-black discolouration of the skin due to decompositions of granules of silver compounds in the connective tissues. This condition persists indefinitely or disappears very slowly.
If symptoms worsen or persist after 7 days, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner.
Discontinue use if skin irritation develops.
