The two-part Kyrosol system from Squip safely uses both a solution of washing soda and glycerin (using 10 drops from a 15 ml dropper bottle, in the latest version) to soften and dissolve excess earwax or impacted build-ups, and then delivers warm water through a large syringe style rinser with a special irrigation tip to flush it away.
The 'Otoclear' tip (illustrated below) was designed for optimum safety and effectiveness, and will not damage the ear drum. The syringe enables you to rinse with warm water combined with 10 drops of solution.

The complete Kyrosol Ear Wax Removal Kit now contains:
- one 15 ml dropper bottle of ear wax removal drops solution;
- the Kyrosol Ear Washer/Rinser/Syringe, with
- an improved version of the Otoclear Safe Irrigation Tip (shown in use at right);
- a pair of Ear Plugs (to permit some mobility during the 30 minute wax dissolving process, before you rinse);
- a storage case; and,
- Instructions.
For the Refills, each Ear Wax Removal Drops package contains a 15 ml dropper bottle of the solution (of Glycerin, Sodium Carbonate, and Purified Water) and a pair of earplugs to enable you to move about while the solution takes effect without having it dribble out of your ear canal.

It is recommended that you consult a physician before using any ear cleaning kit.
Do not use if you have an injury, ear infection, or perforation (hole) of the ear drum; or if you have ear drainage or discharge, ear pain, irritation or rash in the ear canal; or if dizzy; or after an ear operation.
Only use warm water for irrigation (cold or hot can cause dizziness, vertigo, or nausea).
For children under 12 years of age: consult a physician. Do not use on children who have an ear tube. Do not use on infants.
Stop using if wax remains in ear after use.
After initial use (1-3 days), do not use Kyrosol more than twice a month.
