The A250 2-in-1 Aqua Pro filter can fit all BONECO & AIR-O-SWISS Ultrasonic Humidifiers (except for the Travel model 7146), and lasts up to 6 months (a full season of use, for most consumers).

One of the main drawbacks of using regular tap water to humidify a room is there can be both minerals and impurities in that water which can not only gum up a machine over time, but also get emitted in the room, to possibly spread odors, in the short term, and "white dust" residues from the minerals as the air dries out, in the longer term.
This 2-in-1 filter which goes into the humidifier's tank is designed to tackle both those problems: it includes active carbon to absorb the impurities and remove the sources of odor, and also provides significant reduction of water's hardness (demineralization).
The A250 comes with a test strip to measure the hardness of the water, to help determine when it needs replacing.
This new Aqua Pro is an updated model of the Boneco A7531 Demineralization Cartridge, which has been discontinued in favour of this model, and also incorporates the purifying function of the Hydro Cell (Model A200). The Aqua Pro screws into the same place in the Air-o-Swiss or Boneco humidifiers' water tanks as those demineralisation cartridges, and lasts twice as long (up to 6 months, with normal use, compared to 3 months for the A7531).
