Studies have shown infants raised solely with baby formula tend to miss acquiring some types of healthy bacteria that are normally transmitted through breast milk. That can affect the overall mix of friendly bacteria in the intestines, which assist with digestion and nutrient absorption, which in turn helps fortify the immune system. Each 1.1 g scoop contains:
a 10 billion CFU (Colony Forming Units) Probiotic Consortium, consisting of:
Ligilactobacillus salivarius (CUL-61): 6.25 billion CFU
Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (CUL-34) & Bifidobacterium bifidum (CUL-20): 2.5 billion CFU
Lacticaseibacillus paracasei (CUL-08): 1.25 billion CFU
Other ingredients: Transgalactooligosaccharides(GOS)(derived from milk; these are a prebiotic fibre similar to the oligosaccharides which occur naturally in breast milk**), and fructooligosaccharides (or FOS, which acts as an energy source for the probiotics to help them flourish), as well as these final ingredients used to maintain viability of probiotics: dipotassium phosphate, monopotassium phosphate, trehalose, sucrose, sodium chloride, maltodextrin.
Suggested Usage:
Children (1-4 years): Put one scoop of HMF Baby F in a glass, add water or milk, and mix. Take once daily with a meal, at least two to three hours before or after administering any antibiotics (if applicable), or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner.
Store under refrigeration (below 8C).
Warnings:
Do not use if intended recipient has an immune compromised condition. Consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use if they are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhoea or severe abdominal pain. If symptoms of digestive upset occur, worsen or persist beyond three days, discontinue use and consult your healthcare practitioner.
