OregaMax was the first formulation by North American Herb & Spice to feature the whole wild oregano plants grown in mineral-rich soil in the Mediterranean mountains that their Oreganol P73 oil of oregano is made from, along with three other types of raw spices, including Tanner's Sumac (also known as Sicilian or Syrian Sumac, a powdered, maroon-coloured spice similar in appearance to paprika made from the berries of the Rhus coriaria shrub).

This particular combination is a village formula that has been used for thousands of years in that region, just as za'atar (a similar beneficial spice combination, which also features oregano and sumac) has been.
Both oregano and sumac have a wide variety of flavonoids and other constituents giving them potent antibacterial, antifungal, and antioxidant activities, and are the subjects of an increasing amount of scientific research on those and other potential effects.
Sumac / R. coriaria has long been used for digestive disturbances, including stomach aches, flatulence, diarrhea, dysentery, and nausea, and both it and purple onion power (which is also in this blend) contain quercetin.

Non-medicinal ingredients: Hypromellose (Capsule)
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take 2 capsules per day with food or drink. For prolonged use, consult a healthcare practitioner.
You can empty the capsules right onto your food: it’s so flavourful that two or three capsules sprinkled over any meal create an exotic treat.
Warnings:
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Orega-Max capsules if you have hypersensitivity or are allergic to herbs in the Lamiaceae family. Discontinue use if you experience gastrointestinal upset. Do not exceed recommended dose.
