A mattress protector should provide a physical barrier against allergens, dust mites, mold and mildew, and moisture damage, and this recent waterproof model from PureCare can certainly accomplish all that, using many of the same technologies developed for their protectors over the years, including an advanced lightweight, breathable OmniGuard fabric which has been infused with antibacterial silver and fashioned with MiteTight Seams.
But that long term protection for your mattress should not come at the expense of your own sleep, which might happen with some types of protectors which do not dissipate your own body heat well. To remedy that problem, these new FRIO Mattress Protectors and matching Frio Pillow Protectors have embedded a new type of fiber of that name right into the fabric, to enable it to disperse heat 5 times faster than traditional polyester. Made from a combination of nylon, nano-technology, and mica minerals, these hollow Frio fibers (which will remain there intact, for the life product, throughout repeated washings) can tunnel away your body heat to provide a much cooler sleep surface.
Five-sided mattress protectors go on just like a fitted sheet, and will not interfere with the feel of the mattress. They are approved for use with all mattress types, including memory foam and latex, and are compatible with adjustable bases.
The sides for the Trim models are designed to fit onto mattresses with depths ranging from 8" to 13-1/2" deep, depending on the size.
The sides of the Standard models can fit mattress (or combination mattress plus topper) depths ranging from 14" to 18" deep, depending on the size.
These durable protectors have a limited lifetime warranty to safeguard your mattress manufacturer's warranty when purchased with a new mattress, or a 10 year warranty for just the mattress protector itself if bought to put over an existing mattress.
