Product Notes:
The bile salts and three digestive enzymes (lipase, trypsin, and bromelain) in this formula can help you achieve the proper digestion and absorption of foods (especially high fat foods); prevent indigestion, nausea, and flatulence; and promote healthy gallbladder function. In addition, the Charcoal and two herbs (Chamomile and Goldenseal) in it can help relieve digestive tract irritations when taken with meals.
Bile salts are critical to the absorption of fats and fat soluble nutrients (i.e. Vitamins A, D, E, and K), and also the conversion of essential fatty acids from foods and supplements (i.e. EPA/DHA/ ALA) into the anti-inflammatory prostaglandins that provide important benefits for heart, joint, eye, and brain health.
Bile Salts are especially important to those who have had their gall bladder removed. One to three capsules or tablets are recommended with any fat containing meal.

10 mg Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) (flower): 10 mg
10 mg Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis) (root)
Non-medicinal ingredients: Dibasic calcium phosphate dihydrate, cellulose, stearic acid, activated charcoal, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, glycerin.
This Tropic bile salts supplement contains no added yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, sugar, artificial colours or preservatives.
Allergy alert: contains milk.
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take one tablet with each meal, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Warnings:
Do not use Trophic DigestAid during pregnancy and lactation; or if you have abdominal pain, nausea or other symptoms of appendicitis; or if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family.
