Bile plays several important functions in our bodies, but if you're missing your gallbladder or are older or have certain conditions impeding its production, you may want to supplement your own with a high quality animal source.
Bile is a fluid produced by the liver to help us break down and digest fats (they act like detergents: emulsifying large fat or lipid droplets into much smaller ones), and by extension, certain vitamins (A, D, E and K) that are fat-soluble, which would not get properly absorbed without it.
The liver also uses bile to help remove toxic substances from the body, and some of its components – the bile salts such as cholic acid – can also help protect the body against harmful bacteria. But not everyone produces enough of it, whether for age-related or other health reasons, and some have had their gallbladders (which store it) removed.

Vegetable magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide in a non‑GMO vegetable capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum and purified water.
New Roots Ox Bile contains no: gluten, soy, wheat, corn, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, starch, or sugar.
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take 1 capsule daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Take a few hours before or after your other medications, if applicable.
