Ascorbic Acid
The Ascorbic Acid (vitamin C) from Agrumax is very special, because the chemical linked with Citrus Bioflavonoids (Vitamin P) increases and improves its bioavailability and works due to its powerful synergism and excellent stability at lower concentrations (ppm).
Vitamin C is a very important vitamin for humans, animals and vegetables. Ascorbic acid is widely distributed in the plant and animal kingdom. Good sources include Citrus Fruits (such as grapefruits, lemons, limes, mandarins, and other oranges), hip berries, acerola, fresh tea leaves, etc.
Ascorbic acid is used as an antimicrobial and antioxidant in foodstuffs, animal feed and vegetables. Ascorbic acid participates in redox (reduction and oxidation) processes, being reversibly converted into dehydro-ascorbic acid with the release of hydrogen. The high reducing power of ascorbic acid gives it the character of a stabilizer towards readily oxidizable substances (e.g. adrenalin).
Important metabolism relationships exist between Vitamin C and other vitamins and enzymes, and manifest themselves in different actions (e.g. synergism or inhibition). The anti-infectious activity that is based in particular on the inactivation of toxins, is possibly connected with these reactions.
Due to its powerful reducing action, ascorbic acid is capable of substantially destroying the nitrites and nitrosating nitric oxide compounds widely found in foodstuffs, in drinking water in animal feed and in the atmosphere and can thus restrict or prevent both endogenously and exogenously, the formation of the highly carcinogenic nitrosamines.

This liquid formula is occasionally misspelled as Agramax, Agromax, or Agru-Max. Medicinal ingredients: 100% citrus extract. Patented proprietary blend of citrus seeds in a vegetable glycerine base, with each 10 drop dose providing:
Citrus Bioflavonoids: 1.6 mg; Eugenol: .0096 mg; Vitamin C: 60.0 mg
Non-medicinal ingredients: Vegetable Glycerin, Purified water.
Suggested Usage:
For Drinking Water, for general health: Add ten drops per gallon of clear, clean water. Shake / agitate the container well to mix it in, and let it stand for several minutes before drinking.
Household Uses
- For Rinsing Fruits or Vegetables: Add seven to eight drops into a gallon of water in a suitable open container, agitate it to distribute the extract throughout, and soak fruits and/or vegetables in it for fifteen minutes. Rinse them thoroughly after soaking.
- For Rinsing Meat, Fish, or Poultry: Mix up to eight drops in 8 oz. spray bottle. Spray the items all over, let them stand for 15 minutes, and then rinse thoroughly.
- As an All-Purpose Cleaner: Use 20 drops per litre of water. Use on any surface.
Health Applications
- For Athlete's Foot: Mix ten drops with 8 oz. water in a spray bottle. Apply to the feet before bedtime.
-For dealing with Candida albicans (Yeast): Take eight drops in a glass of water or juice, three times per day, fifteen minutes prior to meals, for ten to 30 days. Follow that up with 4 drops, twice a day, for maintenance.
- To help stave off Colds or Flus: Take 12 drops in a glass of water or juice once a day. (Swirl the drops around and let it sit for a few minutes before drinking.)
- For reducing Cold Sores: take 8 drops, in a glass of water, 3 time a day, 15 minutes prior to meals, for 30 days. Follow that up with 8 drops, twice a day, for maintenance.
- For Gingivitis (gum infections): Place two drops on your toothbrush each morning, to disinfect it.
- For Parasites: Use eight drops in a glass of water or juice, fifteen minutes prior to meals, three times a day, for three to six months. Follow that up with 8 drops in a glass twice a day, for maintenance.
Putting one drop in your Pet's drinking water dish may also help prevent them from being infected by parasites or help eliminate existing ones.
For Topical Use: Mix 5 Agrumax drops with 30 ml of distilled water in a clean dropper bottle to apply to insect bites, skin injuries, or lesions. For Warts, apply 1 drop directly to the wart and cover it with a bandage after it gets absorbed.
Warnings:
Never drink the fully concentrated pure liquid – always dilute the Agrumax solution in water or juice. Pregnant and nursing women should not use citrus seed extracts without medical advice.
