Styrian pumpkins differ from the North American variety: although their actual fruit or pulp is not very appetizing to most people, Styrian pumpkins have large, dark green seeds that grow without a shell, making them ready to eat raw and much easier to digest, and they have turned out to have medicinal value.
Raw Styrian Pumpkin Seeds are loaded with antioxidants and vitamins (including A, B1, B2, B6, C, and E), minerals (including calcium, iron, zinc, phosphorus, manganese, selenium, and magnesium), polyunsaturated fatty acids (including both the omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids), amino acids and protein (including tryptophan), and fiber, making them a tasty superfood.
