Serrapeptase Videos

Video Transcription

Serrapeptase is the flagship product of Enerex Botanicals. We were the first company in Canada to bring serrapeptase to the market. This enzyme was first discovered thanks to studying the life cycle of silkworms. When they're ready to hatch, they use this enzyme to breakdown the proteins that make up their cocoon.

Research has showed us that these proteins are very similar to the proteins in humans that make up scar tissue. When you take serrapeptase, the enzyme circulates through the body, eating away at dead, organic tissue. This can reduce inflammation, providing relief for arthritis, joint pain, muscle pain, sinus pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and the list goes on. This makes serrapeptase a great natural alternative to pharmaceutical pain relievers.

Serrapeptase is also helpful in the healing process and can be used to speed recovery after surgery. Hospitals in Europe and Asia have actually implemented the use of serrapeptase in their recovery protocol. On top of pain and recovery, serrapeptase can also prevent against cardiovascular disease by reducing the amount of plaque buildup in the blood vessels.

Enerex serrapeptase is unique in that it's a purely vegan formula. We also use delayed-release capsules, which bypass the stomach acid so that it can be released in the intestines for maximum absorption. Our delayed release capsules do not contain any phthalates, making it a very safe and clean formula. Grab a bottle of Enerex serrapeptase and try out this miracle enzyme.

Bonnie Elendiuk: I started experiencing pain about two years ago. I thought I had slept wrong on my neck, and I had just changed pillows. I attributed it to the pillows or to work because I lift and carry a lot of things at work, so I thought that maybe I had thrown something out in my back. And then it just progressively got worse to the point where I could barely move and was in extreme pain, so I went to my doctor knowing that something was out of whack and I just needed to know what it was.

Diagnosis: Polymyalgia rheumatica inflammatory disorder involving pain and stiffness in the neck, shoulders and hips.

Jennifer Ann Dyck, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine: For pain and inflammation, one of the most common conventional treatments that is prescribed or over the counter purchased is non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or NSAIDs. Conditions that involve inflammation or pain-this can be things like joint pain from osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal injuries, headaches, gout, menstrual pain, including rheumatoid arthritis and polymyalgia rheumatica.

Long-term use of NSAIDs may lead to a number of serious side effects, including: gastrointestinal complications, high blood pressure and cholesterol, osteoporosis, depression.

Bonnie: I don't know if what my friend was on is considered an NSAID, but there is one particular pharmaceutical drug that they do recommend for it, and she basically was on it for two years or more. She swelled up to five double chins and had to have plastic surgery after she got off it. So after seeing what she went through, I said there's no way that I would do that, and I had heard such good things about serrapeptase in the work that I do that I decided to try it.

Serrapeptase: A natural enzyme that has been used clinically to treat pain, inflammation, arterial plaque, scar tissue, blood clots, and cysts.

Dr. Dyck: Serrapeptase is pure enzyme that works to decrease inflammation. When it gets into the bloodstream, it helps digest nonliving material such as blood clots, arterial plaques, congestion in the joints, scar tissue, and cysts. It also reduces swelling and edema. There are positive side effects. For example, someone taking it for joint pain or inflammation will find that their sinus congestion is relieved. Because of the clinical applications and the safety of serrapeptase, it can be used in the young, the old, and even in pets. It is mostly used for pain and inflammation but also can be used to reduce arterial plaques and be used in fibrocystic breast disease.

Clinical studies indicate this enzyme prevents swelling and fluid retention and its anti-inflammatory effects are superior to other enzymes.

Bonnie: Hearing people's stories who have taken serrapeptase, I decided to try that one because being an enzyme, it's safe, it covers a whole range of problems that one can go through in one's body, and its safety was what really got me trying it. I'm not in pain. I have mobility, and the serrapeptase was wonderful for me.
