ANKARSRUM GO GREEN PACKAGE
These three attachments are all exclusively for use with the Ankarsrum Assistent Original to upgrade its capacities from a mixer to a far more versatile kitchen machine.
The Blender: this 1.3 Litre capacity accessory enables you to create smoothies or bisque soups; or chop up chocolate; or purée berries, fruits, or vegetables; make hummus, or crushed ice; or even grind up small quantities of grain. The container is made with a sturdy type of BPA-free plastic, and the stainless steel blades get powered directly from the drive shaft of the Ankarsrum's motor, which delivers tremendous power. It also includes a tamper to push the food down closer to the blades.
The Citrus Press: this spinning attachment with a 42 ounce capacity reservoir enables you to make your own fresh squeezed citrus juice (be it orange, grapefruit, lemon or lime) in just seconds, whether to start your day or for baking or even to add to smoothies. (Just cut them in half, first.)
The Vegetable Cutter/Slicer/Shredder transforms the Ankarsrum into more of a Food Processor capable of cutting, slicing, shredding, or grating a wide assortment of vegetables and cheeses, including beets, cucumbers, carrots, or cabbage. This attachment comes with three different drums - one for slicing, and two for grating or shredding (one medium and one coarse) - as well as a grey-coloured rectangular plunger to push the food down the feeding chamber towards whichever cutting or grating drum you have placed into the bottom.
Suggested Usage:
To use the blender attachment, place the Ankarsrum on its side and attach the blender to the drive socket, as shown in the video. Place the items to be chopped, mixed or ground into the blender. Put the lid on, and keep your hand on it during operation. Run on the highest speed for 30 to 40 seconds, until everything is well blended/ground. Caution: Always keep your hand on the lid during operation. Avoid running the blender for more than 3 minutes at a time when chopping dry items, or for more than 9 minutes at a time when blending liquids. To clean this attachment, just pour some hot water into the blender with a couple of squirts of liquid dish detergent, run the machine on the highest speed for around 15 seconds, and then rinse it out.
