Nattokinase may help reduce the risk of blood clotting and help reduce blood pressure by degrading an insoluble protein called “fibrin.” Its potency is measured in fibrinolytic units (FU), and research indicates a minimum of 1000 are needed per serving to have an appreciable effect; this type from AOR provides at least 2000 and up to 2800 fibrin degradation units per capsule!
Nattokinase is a serine proteinase produced during the fermentation of the traditional Japanese condiment natto. (Natto is boiled soybeans that have been fermented with a type of probiotic bacteria called Bacillus subtilis, a soil-based organism.)
Nattokinase supports fibrinolysis, the breaking up of thrombi (abnormal blood clots within blood vessels), by reducing excessive levels of plasminogen activator inhibitor type I (PAI-1), an enzyme, which suppresses the body’s fibrinolytic activity. Fibrinolysis is essential to maintaining healthy vascular structure and function.
By aiding the restoration of normal blood flow, nattokinase can help guard against cardiovascular diseases such as stroke, heart attack, and thrombosis.

100 mg Nattokinase (Fermented soy extract) (with a Min. of 2000 Fibrin degradation units and a Max. of 2800 Fibrin degradation units)

Suggested Usage:

Warnings:
