Product Notes:

Our bodies need minerals for all manner of things (e.g., to: metabolize nutrients, develop and maintain bones and teeth, maintain fluid balance, and make our muscles function properly). And because they interact with each other in physiological functions, we also need a great many types, albeit mostly only in minute amounts. Trouble is, many of our foods are not as rich in minerals as they used to be (due to soil depletion, production techniques, and consumer preferences), plus many people primarily drink water that's been depleted of minerals by reverse osmosis filtration systems.

Fortunately, there's a solution to this - literally - in the form of concentrated ocean salt water.

You've likely heard of the Great Salt Lake in Utah and the Dead Sea in Israel: inland salt lakes, which formerly had ocean water, whose seabeds are now replete with minerals which have already been broken down into an ionic state (with a charge, from either a missing or an extra electron) which makes them easier to absorb.

Australia has a salt lake, too, but it's not as clean, so these products are manufactured from actual ocean water drawn from the pristine waters off its relatively uninhabited southern coast. This water is then completely dried by the sun, which helps lower its sodium and heavy metal content. The result is a full spectrum of over 70 naturally occurring ionic minerals like chromium, cobalt, copper, iodine, iron, manganese, molybdenum, selenium, and zinc, which work together synergistically as cofactors in literally hundreds of bodily processes.

In addition to being used to remineralize Reverse Osmosis (RO) treated or distilled water or to compensate for an over-processed diet, Aussie Trace Minerals can of course be used as means of replenishing the electrolytes lost through sweat during strenuous workouts. But unlike many conventional sport drinks, it has zero sugar or artificial sweeteners, so won't add calories, cause blood spikes, or increase the risk of cardiometabolic disorders and diabetic mortality.
