Info: 450 g Jar (30 Servings) of Vegan Amino Acid Powder
As the smallest of the amino acids with many significant roles, glycine is the little engine that could... help in many ways! It's an essential building block of protein, collagen, short-term energy production, and our body's most important antioxidant (glutathione), plus it helps digest and absorb lipids, and can even improve the quality of our sleep.

Product Notes:
Glycine is not only a major constituent of the protein our bodies put together to build and repair our muscles and other tissues (including collagen), but it's also a precursor to other important substances in our bodies, including ones related to improving energy supply to muscle tissues (creatine) and fighting toxins and disease (glutathione).
It even functions as a neurotransmitter, and can help us relax, and lowers our body temperature, and increases the release of serotonin (the precursor to melatonin), to enable us to sleep better.
Our bodies can only produce about 2.5 g of the 14.5 grams of glycine we need a day for those and other functions on their own, so the remainder needs to come either from one's diet (which can be problematic, for vegetarians) or a supplement like this. This version from CanPrev provides just pure glycine, with no added or flavour, but fear not: glycine is actually very sweet tasting. (In fact, it got its name from the same Greek word for sweetness ("glykys") that glucose was named after.)
