Product Notes:
Green Micro Algae with Broken Cell Wall
Chlorella is a type of green algae which grows in freshwater (as opposed to sea or saltwater) that's quite unique in having such as varied and concentrated supply nutrients in its single-cell structure, making it a pure, whole food.
Chlorella not only contains amino acids (the building blocks of protein) but enzymes like pepsin to help digest them, as well as carbs and an assortment of vitamins and minerals and carbohydrates. It also has a lot of something called Chlorella Growth Factor (or CGF), which is full of the RNA and DNA it uses to rapidly reproduce during photosynthesis, which some believe can help stimulate healing and the growth and repair of damaged tissue when consumed by people (or other mammals).
