Product Notes:

Short of an actual time machine (or a magic spell), the only real way to get lasting reversals of the ravages of time and environmental stressors on your skin is to help it repair itself at the cellular level. This moisturizer and serum do that through a combination of antioxidants to combat UV damage; nutrients; and several types of specially formulated peptides (amino acid chains) to help relax the muscles underlying frown lines and crow's feet, and to produce more collagen and elastin (the factors responsible for maintaining the skin's resilience, tone and texture).

One of these, the plant-based Flora-Collagen produced from acacia seyal gum, is their own trademark ingredient, but for several of the other active ingredients, while some companies might try going it alone and starting from scratch with generic ingredients, Derma E has opted to capitalize on the years of R&D and testing put in by some international cosmetic and nutraceutical companies by incorporating several branded ingredients with proven track records and scientific studies to back them: Pycnogenol® pine bark extract for powerful antioxidant support; and Matrixyl® Synthe'6® and Argireline® peptides for rebuilding elastin fibres and collagen layers and relaxing facial muscles. Please see the final two videos for more detail on those particular ingredients.

And while some naysayers might claim that peptides don't really help beyond the initial layers of skin when applied topically, there have certainly been studies like the ones in the Supporting Science references below showing otherwise for at least some types, including some of the ingredients here.

Users attest these products go on quickly, don't clog the pores, and improve the firmness, texture, and suppleness of their skin, and some say it even helps with rosacea/ redness.

Serum: Use in the morning or evening, either on its own or in combination with a moisturizer (especially the accompanying Advanced Peptides and Collagen Moisturizer, for the best age-defying benefits).
