Product Notes:
First off, the Pana's overall design and capacity are well suited to busy countertop kitchen use: with a low profile, well-grounded base and durable stainless steel platform able to weigh up to 13 pounds/6 kilos at once, and the display screen and controls being quite accessible and visible right up front while also being sealed in with a protective guard to ward off accidental spills.
Second, it also has all the standard features one would want from a digital kitchen scale: a tare feature; a choice of measuring units; and auto shut-off to preserve battery life.
Third, it even enables you to measure the right volume of many different types of food items such as strawberries to add to your mixture on the fly, right in the same mixing bowl, without having to cut them up and mash them down to fit into a separate measuring cup first.
Finally, in addition to running on a standard 9-volt battery (included), it can also operate on an adapter (also included), which disables the auto shut-off feature, so you can keep using it intermittently for as long as you like during an extensive baking session without having to pause to turn it back on or reset the tare settings.
