Genestra Brands easy-to-use time-released Sleep Gummies help to reset your sleep-wake cycle. They taste great and can help you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.

Product Notes:

Genestra Sleep Gummies

Your sleep cycle can get disrupted by travel or schedule changes or there may be other times you need help getting or staying asleep when a supplement might be in order. But if it's just for occasional use, shouldn't it be in a form you'll actually use (or even enjoy using, a little) rather than one you can barely choke down or which tastes ghastly?

So if you need to reset your sleep-wake cycle or when you need help relaxing, falling, and staying asleep, just nibble on a couple of these natural raspberry-tea flavoured, lightly sweetened Sleep Gummies before bed and go nod off as usual.

They Won't Function If You Can't Stomach the Form

There's no shortage of sleep supplements out there, and most (including this new one from Genestra) draw from an assortment of traditional herbs, vitamins and chemicals used by the brain with a well-established history of staving off stress, relieving anxiety, and improving sleep quality.

Whatever the combination, they might all be roughly equal in effect (they all vary by user, and you may need to try different ones to see which work for you), but they're certainly not all equal in form.

Pills or capsules that can get caught in your throat; liquids that are finicky to measure out so you end up over-consuming; sprays that never seem to aim right or get clogged; lozenges one might not have the patience for to suck on long enough to enable it to fully work... well, we could see how somehow might dislike them all, especially if have difficulty swallowing.

But berry-flavoured gummies... why, they've pretty much got to be the most palatable (and funnest!) delivery system around to get the job done for virtually anyone (with teeth). (And if you're vegan, don't worry, these are made from plant-based pectin, not gelatin, which technically makes them more of a jelly than a gum, which makes them easier to chew.)

Low in Sugar

There's also less than half a gram of total sugars in each. That's just 1/8th of a teaspoon, where the recommended daily allowance by the FDA at the moment is up to 50 grams of added sugar a day (or 48 grams/12 teaspoons by the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation), so reserving that last gram of the day for a two sleep gummie dose would be just 2% of one's RDA for that to possibly achieve the most

Synergistic Sleep Support

As for the specific combination Genestra has selected, well, suffice it to say, each of the four players (lemon balm, L-theanine, vitamin B6, and of course melatonin) all have a role to play and a well-established history of safety and at least some individual efficacy in inducing and/or maintaining relaxation and sleep, so it will all come down to how good their synergistic effect is for you.

MicroActive Melatonin - Time-Released Dosage

The one thing that might catch some people's eye is how modest the dosage of the melatonin is, but rest assured, there's good reason for that. Melatonin is often thought of as a sedative, but it's not: it's more as a sleep signaller - a green light to tell the nervous system to shift gears away from its more active, aroused states. But too much melatonin can backfire and leave you feeling grumpy or groggy the next morning, and what's really important is that there be sustained levels of it in the bloodstream during all the actual hours one wants to stay asleep, even at very tiny amounts.

That's what this specially formulated time-released type is designed to do. MicroActive Melatonin has multiple dense layers, which dissolve gradually to last all night, whereas other types either tend to peak early and exhaust their payload in the first couple hours, or may be so overloaded they'll have residual effects that will essentially be temporarily inducing a Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) condition.
