Unlike normal capsules which may be difficult to swallow and unpalatable to chew, or lozenges which may take too long to fully dissolve or be unsuitable for very young children if they could pose a choking hazard, chewable tablets with a delicious natural orange flavour can be enjoyed by anyone aged 4 years and up.
Zinc has a myriad of functions in our bodies - perhaps most notably for supporting immune function - as does Vitamin C, which has many overlapping roles.
There are many reasons to take them on a supplementary basis such as to help hasten recovering from a cold, but in that case, they are likely to most effective if they can be absorbed more quickly into the bloodstream primarily through the tissues in the mouth (especially under the tongue), rather than ingested.
Lozenges are the common vehicle for that, but not everyone has the patience or inclination for slowly dissolving those, plus they may be a choking hazard for some, and sometimes zinc lozenges are simply not available. Chewable tablets are a great alternative.

Zinc (zinc citrate): 10 mg
Vitamin C (ascorbyl palmitate): 12 mg
Non-medicinal ingredients: Xylitol, mannitol, hyprolose, citric acid, natural flavours.

Suggested Usage:
Store bottle in a cool, dry place. Take Genestra Brands Zinc Chewables with meals, either a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products (if applicable), in the following dosages based on age, or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner.
Adults and Adolescents (14 years and older): Chew 1 tablet 1 to 3 times daily.
Adolescents (9-13 years old): Chew 1 tablet 1 to 2 times daily.
Children (4-8 years old): Chew 1 tablet daily.
Warnings:
Keep bottle out of reach of children. Zinc supplementation can cause a copper deficiency. Consult your healthcare practitioner if you are unsure whether you are taking enough copper.
