Product Notes:

GlyNAC: Pioneering Cellular Nutrition for Healthy Aging

A promising new combination of existing ingredients, GlyNAC is a patented compound of amino acids that are precursors of glutathione, a powerful natural antioxidant. GlyNAC is a new formula in the United States, and it was launched at an unusual time, as the US FDA is currently debating how to classify NAC products in that country.

Ingredients Available Individually in Canada

It's new, so products using the compound's name have yet to be reviewed and approved for sale in Canada, but GlyNAC supplements consist of Glycine and N-Acetyl Cysteine, long established ingredients that are licensed as natural health products by Health Canada and available individually in Canada. For example, one serving of Celltrient Cellular Protect (a US GlyNAC formula) provides 600 mg Glycine and 600 mg of NAC.

Supporting Science:

A trial conducted by researchers at Baylor College of Medicine revealed that supplementing with Gly-NAC could improve many age-associated defects in older humans to improve muscle strength, cognition, and to promote healthy aging.

"GlyNAC supplementation could be a novel nutritional approach to improve age-associated defects and promote healthy aging, and existing data strongly support the need for additional studies to explore the role and impact of GlyNAC supplementation in aging."
