Named after a small commercial town nestled in the Alps in southeastern Switzerland, the Airolo is a versatile lifestyle sneaker which comes in a choice of colours and soles. Either way, with the air-cushioned sole providing secure, shock-absorbing footing as you walk, and the mesh openings on much of the upper providing plenty of ventilation, you'll be able to stay active far longer in these shoes than in conventional sneakers, especially if you have mobility, pain, or gait issues.
Please note, we are only able to ship footwear orders within Canada.
The Anthracite coloured model can take on fairly distinct characteristics simply by swapping out its two sets of laces When the beige-coloured laces which match the accents on its side and heel are installed (as shown in the first photo), it's fairly sporty, for those occasions you want to look or feel more youthful. (Please note, the colour of the laces and the trim on the heel tab of the Anthracite model may be more of a 'golden' colour than the yellow shown in these photos.) Or for a more subdued look, put their grey laces on, which blend in with the rest of the shoe.
Or try the 'Moon Rock' coloured model, which comes white laces to brighten it up (or you could replace those with tan-coloured ones to tone it down), and comes with new Strato sole (shown in the final photo), which is designed to roll better in the backfoot area.
Sizing information: even though the kybun Airolo shoe has a Slim Fit sole, a major retailer in another country advises that it "Runs True" to a customer's usual U.S. sizes -- meaning, if you customarily buy a U.S. size 9, for example, go ahead and make that same size selection here.
Upper: microfibre and mesh
Lining: microfibre and mesh
Sole: PU, Stratus / Slim Fit type, on the Anthracite version,
