To begin with, the Silvaplana comes in basic black and has a leather toe cap and toe vamp, so it can serve as an office or even a dress shoe, if need be. Second, it has plenty of mesh fabric areas on the upper to provide great ventilation, so you can walk for miles or be on your feet all day without overheating. Third, it's probably kybun's widest men's shoe (apart from the Vals, which isn't really suitable for many workplaces), which will be of interest if you have especially wide feet or bunions. Fourth, it's outfitted on the Strato sole, so it can provide the full shock-absorbing rebound effect to cushion you and help activate your muscles and improve your posture and gait, with every step. Finally, despite being so therapeutic, this Italian made shoe looks stream-lined and sporty, rather than like a big ugly orthopedic shoe, making it visually appealing for men of virtually any age.
