Fnd for those with oily or combination skin types who might have enlarged pores, an overly shiny complexion, or frequent blemishes, a great option is a foaming cleanser like this Botanical Cleanser from LaVigne which features only gentle, all-natural ingredients like Aloe vera, and is quick and easy to apply.

Product Notes:

A good facial cleanser can be critically important to maintain your skin's health, not only to remove makeup, grime, and excess oil (in order to make it clean again and to remedy or prevent clogged pores and breakouts and to increase your other skincare products' effectiveness by clearing the path for them), but also to enhance its natural radiance, texture, tone and protective barrier.

As its name implies, this is a Botanical, i.e., plant-based, Cleanser (no petrochemical-based ingredients here!), with virtually all of the explicitly named plants having documented anti-bacterial, and pro-healing properties, and most having a longstanding, well-deserved reputation for being calming and soothing (i.e., anti-inflammatory), and a growing reputation for being "anti-aging" by also being antioxidants and helping the skin feel and look smoother.

These of course include LaVigne's signature "Magic" ingredient, Tepezcohuite Bark Extract (which comprises 20% of this product), along with Chamomile, Lavender, Sacha inchi, Dandelion, and even Licorice (all from renewable sources), which are paired with coconut or similarly plant-oil based foaming agents and a corn-starch style thickener.

Collectively, they form a pH balanced, ultra-mild, non-irritating foaming gel-wash that can be used daily for any skin type. Users report it has a nice light scent, and quickly works up to a foam.

Ingredients:

Organic Aloe barbadensis Leaf Gel, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate [a coconut-based cleansing and foaming agent], Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate [a coconut-based surfactant with a negative charge, which helps create a lather to lift out dirt, oil, and impurities], Mimosa tenuiflora (Tepezcohuite) Bark Extract, Vegetable Glycerin [a coconut (or possibly palm oil or soybean)-based moisturizing agent], Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate [a gluten-free modified sugar from corn or wheat to thicken or improve the 'feel' of the solution], Glyceryl Caprylate (and) Glyceryl Undecylenate [two vegetable-oil (possible canola) and castor bean based emulsifiers with antimicrobial properties], Organic Chamomilla recutita (Matricaria) Flower (aka Matricaria chamomilla), Organic Taraxacum officinale (Dandelion) Extract, Organic Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Extract, Organic Glycyrrhiza glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Organic Plukenetia volubilis (Sacha inchi) Seed Oil (and) Tocopherol, Anthemis nobilis (Chamomile) Oil, Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Citric Acid.
