Info: 30 Capsules
Worried about catching a cold again this winter, or want something on hand to try to recover quicker if you do get one? It may seem a bit counter-intuitive to take probiotics for colds, but think about it: not everyone contracts a cold, even when it's going around your workplace (or mode of transport), and the ones that do typically have a relatively weaker immune system -- and probiotics can help the immune system by enabling you to digest and absorb nutrients more effectively, including those needed by the immune system. Similarly, the immune system draws on nutrients to do its work in battling colds or other illnesses, so it makes sense to take probiotics to help make more nutrients available to it. That's why Health Canada has approved this product to help reduce the number and/or severity of symptoms associated with the common cold.
