After large meals may not be the only time that we might need to supplement with proteolytic-enzymes. In some cases, the pancreas may not produce enough on its own, particularly when subject to chronic inflammation, cancer, or surgery. Pancreatin Ingredients:
Each enteric-coated capsule contains:
325 mg Pancreatic enzymes 4× concentrate [from pork [Sus scrofa])], providing:
- Amylase activity: 32,500 USP units
- Protease activity: 32,500 USP units
- Lipase activity: 2,600 USP units
Non-medicinal ingredients: A non‑GMO vegetable capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum, purified water, and a water-based enteric coating.
Pancreatin contains no sugar, dairy, wheat, gluten, soy, yeast, preservatives, or artificial flavours or colours.
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take 1 capsule two to four times daily with food, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Take with or immediately before a meal/food. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks or for prolonged use. Use the smallest effective dose which controls symptoms.
Store tightly sealed in light-resistant container in a cool, dry place.
Warnings:
Do not use New Roots Herbal Pancreatin if you have an intestinal ulcer or any form of inflammatory bowel disease, or if you are sensitive to pancreatic enzymes or to pork proteins.
