NOW - Blemish Clear Line

NOW Blemish Clear 7 Step Facial Care Routine:

1. Remove any residual makeup, dirt, and impurities with a lightweight remover which will balance rather than strip away all the skin's natural oils, with the Soothing Rose Facial Cleansing Oil, which can be used either alone or as part of a two-step cleansing routine. Featuring Jojoba oil, Vitamin E, and of course Rose Absolute (which furnishes its scent), it not gently removes makeup cleanses the skin of dirt and impurities but also nourishes it and balance its natural oils. It can be used by all skin types, including dry or dehydrated skin.

To apply the cleansing oil: Simply place one or two pumps of it onto your dry palm; massage it liberally over your dry face and neck; and then gently rinse your face and neck off with warm water or a washcloth. For eye makeup, just apply a little Cleansing Oil to a cotton pad and dab it on to easily dissolve it, and then wipe it away.

2. Cleanse any remaining buildup, grime or excess natural oils in the clogged pores of oily, combination, or blemish-prone skin with the gentle Blemish Clear Gel Cleanser, which not only provides a deep cleansing and purification to prevent breakouts, but also features many botanicals to help soothe, calm and brighten the skin and reduce the signs of blemishes and redness - including cucumber, Psoralea corylifolia (Babchi), tea tree oil, willow bark, witch hazel, and s powdered Pomegranate extract.

To apply the gel cleanser, place a liberal amount onto your damp face and neck area in the morning and/or evening; gently massage it in, concentrating on problem areas; then rinse it off thoroughly with water, and pat dry. For best results, use daily and follow up with the Blemish Clear Moisturizer.

3. Exfoliate: use a mildly abrasive cloth and the Vitamin C & Oryza Sativa Gentle Scrub to remove dead skin cells, in order to unclog pores; brighten and even out skin tone (such as the dull appearance, minor colour imbalances, or uneven tone typical of combination skin); improve the surface of the skin (such as the light scarring or imperfections caused by problem skin); help protect the skin from future damage; and enhance how well the subsequent products can be absorbed to do their work, which can all help provide a healthier complexion. For best results, do this 2 or more times a week. (You might also want to use a facial mask once or twice a week for this purpose, as well.)

To apply, first moisten your face with water; then gently massage a liberal amount into your skin, beginning by distributing it evenly over the entire face, and then emphasizing its application on uneven, scarred or discolored areas. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.

4. Hydrate & Tone with a water-based toner to retain moisture in the skin; use one featuring either glycerin or HA, such as the NOW Hyaluronic Acid Hydration Facial Mist.

To apply that Facial Mist, simply shake the bottle well before use, and gently spray the mist onto your face, neck and upper chest (with your eyes and mouth tightly closed).

5. Activate the improvement of problem areas caused by blemishes with the Blemish Clear Spot Serum, to reduce the signs of redness and irritation and diminish dark spots and imperfections while also helping in retaining moisture and brightening skin tone.

To apply, simply dab a small amount of the serum to the already cleansed dark or irritated areas any time a breakout occurs. For best results, use in conjunction with the Blemish Clear Cleanser and Moisturizer, and you may want to follow-up with an under-eye cream.

6. Moisturize with the lightweight texture, soothing and calming Blemish Clear Moisturizer, not only to protect your skin from the elements (wind, sun) during the day and help it rejuvenate at night and help restore its balance, but also to improve the appearance of its texture and tone and to help reduce the appearance of minor blemishes.

To apply, for best results, use daily on your face, neck and décolletage/chest area each morning and/or evening, after washing your skin with one of the two Cleansers above. (Be sure to avoid the delicate area around the eyes, however.)

7. Protect: If you are going to be exposed to sunlight either outdoors or from a window, apply a daytime sunscreen, and wait a few minutes if you plan to apply makeup right after.
