Info: Three Types Available, for Different Skin Types
Bentonite (a.k.a. Fuller's Earth, or montmorillonite) is a type of natural volcanic clay with absorptive properties, which makes it very useful for removing toxins. It also contains a lot of trace minerals, so can be a source of nutrients. It has commonly been used both internally for intestinal cleansing or detoxification programs, and externally/topically, but these types, and a similar type of clay powder from Morocco, are only recommended for the latter.
When used as a facial mask -- a "mud pack" -- montmorillonite can not only draw away excess oil, dirt and impurities, but also nourish the skin, to help maintain healthy skin tone and texture. But it needn't stop there: there may be other problem areas on your body such as your neck or shoulders where Bentonite Powder can help sop up impurities and dry up excess oil. You don't need to go to health spa or spend a fortune to keep your skin looking youthful: just act Now.
The green-coloured European clay powder was extracted manually from a quarry in Southern France, providing an exceptionally pure powder which readily mixes with water due to its high purity (contains no sand, quartz, etc.). It's intended for use in facial masks by those with normal, combination or oily skin in need of detoxification or wanting smaller pores: i.e., for most skin types. The mask will help remove debris from under the skin and draw out impurities from the pores, which will decrease pore size and improve skin tone.
The Moroccan Red Clay Powder is from an all-natural clay that's well-absorbed and mixes easily with water or moisturizing oils. It's excellent for cleansing and purifying the face, especially for persons with sensitive skin. Applying it as a mask/masque will help draw impurities out of the pores and remove debris from under the skin, which can decrease the size of the pores and improve skin tone.
The Bentonite Clay Powder is mainly recommended for oily, problem skin in need of a strong clay mask to remove excess debris, build-up and dirt from pores, or for skin on other parts of the body needing impurities removed. Caution should be used in avoiding applying it to more sensitive areas.
