Product Notes:
While many people in Canada and the USA get enough iodine from commercial table salt and beef products (because cattle feed and table salt have been enriched with it, so most people typically take in between 100 and 200 mcg per day), those who avoid those foods including vegans, or individuals with a hypoactive thyroid may not be. Also known as brown seaweed, many types of kelp have a high iodine content, and these NOW products provide that in a pure powdered form, or in capsules.

450 mcg Iodine [from Organic Kelp (Laminaria spp., whole plant)]

100 mg Kelp (Laminaria digitata & Ascophyllum nodosum) (Whole Plant) (Providing 325 mcg of Iodine)
Non-medicinal ingredients: Cellulose, Veg. Capsule (hypromellose, water), Stearic Acid (vegetable source) and Silica.
Suggested Usage:
Kelp Powder: Adults and adolescents age 14 and up: Take 1 level scoop, once daily. (Scoop provided).
Capsules: Adult Dosage: Take 1 capsule daily.
