Info: 90 Veg. Capsules

Taking care of your heart is a life-long journey. However over time, cholesterol and other lipids can accumulate in your body and can put you at risk for developing cardiovascular disease. Policosanol is a blend of long-chain fatty alcohols that is derived from sugar cane. Studies suggest that policosanol aids to decrease cholesterol production in the liver, as well as increases the breakdown of low-density lipoprotein (LDL or "bad") cholesterol in the body.

Product Notes:

Policosanol has been shown to increase platelet function and provide antioxidant protection to support cardiovascular health. NOW Policosanol vegetarian capsules are also formulated with artichoke, milk thistle, alpha lipoic acid, and grape seed that aid to support liver function, protect against free radical damage, and promote cardiovascular health.

Each capsule contains:
Policosanol (from Sugar Cane wax): 20 mg
Grape seed (Vitis vinifera L.): 30 mg
Artichoke (Cynara scolymus L) Leaves: 100 mg
Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum L) Seeds: 100 mg
