Product Notes:
Stinging Nettle is widely used to relieve urinary problems during the early stages Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), when the prostate gland becomes enlarged and presses on the urethra, resulting in symptoms such as a constant urge to urinate, a reduced flow when you do, incomplete emptying, and dripping. And some lab studies have shown it can even slow the growth of certain kinds of prostate cells (although it does not appear to be able to actually decrease the size of the prostate).
Stinging nettle is an herbaceous shrub whose leaves and stems are something of a two-edged sword: there are fine hairs on them which contain chemicals that can irritate and cause pain to our normal skin when we make contact with it in the wild, yet when they are applied to areas that were already painful, they can also decrease that original pain, likely by reducing the levels of inflammatory chemicals in our bodies.
