This formulation from Prairie Naturals combines two antioxidant-rich phytonutrients (Vinpocetine and blueberries) which research indicates may be able to improve memory and cognitive power, particularly in those suffering from age-related decline.
Product Notes:
Vinpocetine and blueberries work to boost cognition by improving blood flow to the brain. The former also appears to reduce inflammation and protect the cells of the central nervous system against injury – especially from strokes – by reducing the viscosity or 'stickiness' of red blood cells and platelets.
Ingredients:
Each softgel contains: 15 mg of Vinpocetine and 13.89 mg of Blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum) (36:1 extract) equivalent to 500 mg of Blueberry.
Non-medicinal ingredients: Organic olive oil, beeswax yellow, lecithin, gelatin, glycerin, purified water, caramel powder and carob.
Yeast free. Dairy free. Non-GMO.
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take 1 softgel twice daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. Store in a cool, dry place.
Warnings:
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use Vinpocetine Plus if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have low blood pressure, or are constipated. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking blood thinning medications, if you have high blood pressure, cardiac arrhythmia, dementia, or have suffered a stroke. Some people may experience anxiety, gastrointestinal discomfort, dizziness, or headaches; in which case, discontinue use.
