A number of candies may market themselves as cough suppressants, but to get genuine temporary relief from coughs and sore throats, you need something with active ingredients like Menthol and Slippery Elm which can soothe the throat and cool the airway passages to reduce the irritation which was triggering the reflex that makes you cough.
You can choose between one flavoured with real Bing cherry juice, or a sweeter one with Meyer lemons and organic honey.

l-Menthol: 5.97 mg
Organic Slippery Elm Powder (Ulmus rubra, Stem bark inner): 10 mg
Non-medicinal ingredients:
Bing Cherry Flavour: Organic brown rice syrup, organic sugarcane juice, beet juice concentrate, natural cherry fruit juice concentrate, organic honey.
Meyer Lemon with Honey Flavour: Organic brown rice syrup, organic sugarcane juice, organic honey, natural lemon flavour, and organic turmeric.
Suggested Usage:
Adults and children 2 years and over: Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth. Repeat every 2 hours as needed, or as directed by a doctor.
Warnings:
If sore throat symptoms are severe or persist more than 2 days, consult a doctor. Also consult a doctor if the cough worsens, persists for more than 7 days or is accompanied by high fever.
