Elderflowers themselves are edible, as well -- delicious sprinkled over salads, sauces, fruit purée. You can also grind dried elderflowers into a flour to enhance the flavour of your favourite recipes.

Organic Elderflowers (Sambucus nigra subsp. canadensis).
Certified organic, grown in Canada, and harvested by hand.
Suggested Usage:
Dried Elderflowers can either be made into a tea, or sprinkled on certain foods like salads or cereals, or even be ground into a flour to enhance the taste of pancakes, muffins, or other types of baking.
To prepare a tea, pour 8 ounces of hot water (82C/180F) over 1 tablespoon of the dried elderflowers. Allow them to soak in hot water for 5 to 10 minutes. Filter before drinking.
For relieving fevers (by promoting sweating), or relieving cough, cold, or allergy symptoms, the recommended doses by age group are:
Children 3 to 5 years old: Half a teaspoon, once per day
Children 6 to 13 years old: 1 teaspoon, once per day
Adults and Adolescents 14 years old and up: 1 teaspoon, twice per day
