Want a fish-oil style product to help control cholesterol levels, reduce arthritic pain, and/or reduce painful periods - without it tasting like fish or going rancid too quickly? Try NKO! Neptune Krill Oil has been shown to be able to just as good or even better than fish oil at raising people's vital DHA and EPA levels, and it's also a lot more stable, thanks in part to the preservative effect of its astaxanthin content: a carotenoid that not only provides its colour, but is also a powerful immune-supporting antioxidant.

Product Notes:

You've no doubt heard that essential fatty acids can have many important cardiovascular and brain health benefits and may even have tried some fish oil products to provide them, but may have reservations about their taste, purity, or sustainability. Fortunately, there's this perfectly viable and arguably superior alternative: Neptune Krill Oil, which comes from tiny abundant shrimp-like crustaceans in pristine Antarctic waters (which are so abundant, collectively, they outweigh humans!). Not only does it have a balanced fatty acid content (not only Omega-3, but also some Omega-6 and Omega-9), but also two important factors (astaxanthin and phospholipids) which provide antioxidant protection and help fortify cell membranes so they can function efficiently, as is explained in these videos.

Ingredients:

Each Caplique® capsule contains:

Trophic NKO capsules

500 mg Neptune Krill (NKO®) Oil (Euphausia superba), providing:
- 247 mg Phospholipids
- 198 mg Esterified Astaxanthin
- 137 mg Omega-3 Fatty Acids
- 75 mg EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid)
- 33 mg DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) : 0.63 mg

Non-medicinal ingredients: Purified water, fish gelatin (tilapia), polysorbate 80.

Capliques® are a special type of clear, odorless capsule made to be softer and easier to swallow than traditional softgels, and they've been heat sealed in the middle after being filled to prevent an aftertaste.

Neptune Krill Oil is manufactured under strict quality control standards. It is tested to be free of potentially harmful levels of contaminants (i.e., mercury, heavy metals, PCB's, dioxins, and other contaminants).

NKO® is a trademark of Neptune Technologies & Bioresources Inc., QC.
