Zeolite powder is a 100% natural mineral powder with a wide range of industrial, agricultural, household, cosmetic, and medical uses.

Product Notes:

With its abilities to absorb moisture and attract a variety of substances (including toxins and heavy metals) and trap them in its micro-porous structure, powdered zeolite can be used for: washing fruits or vegetables (just dissolve about 1g in a bowl of water and place them in); deodorizing fridges or freezers (which can also delay frost build-up); detoxifying facial masks or mud wraps, or to integrate with other personal care products such as cleansers, exfoliators, or skin lighteners (or even as a dental powder to remove plaque and tartar).

It is produced from volcanic rocks which were created when volcanic ash layers reacted with the surrounding alkaline ground or seawater to create an extremely porous material with a negative charge, which enables it to attract, neutralize, and trap positively charged anions, organics, and heavy metal ions in its vicinity (sometimes by exchanging the harmless or even beneficial lighter cations contained within its own microscopic honeycomb structures such as potassium, calcium, and sodium in order to make room for heavier ones).

This animated video explains the concept of the Cation Exchange which Zeolite Clinoptilolite Mineral Powder is capable of, although in the context of plants and soils, rather than clays being used in other contexts and applications.
