Alpha Supreme 100% Medium Chain Triglycerides. "MCTs" are naturally occurring saturated fats in coconut and palm kernel oil. Easier to digest than more typically used fats, they're readily absorbed and break down rapidly in the liver, rather than being stored as fat. Acting like a carbohydrate, they provide the necessary energy and calories while decreasing the fat stored in the body.

Product Notes:
High quality raw coconut oil has a spectrum of nine different fatty acids. A majority of these are medium chain fatty acids which are beneficial for weight management. MCT may be used to reduce hungers pangs and support weight loss without losing muscle mass, and can be used as a booster when ketone levels are low.
A great source of easily digested fat which can be quickly absorbed and converted into usable energy for both the body and the brain, MCT Oil is becoming increasingly popular among several main user groups: athletes and/or body builders, wanting to fuel their workouts and help rebuild their muscles and prevent the breakdown of protein after.
It's popular for those following either a paleo or a ketogenic diet, seeking a concentrated alternate source of clean fat (or a vegan one); more casual dieters, wanting something to help them feel full which will increase their metabolic rate and get burned off, rather than be stored as fat; and with those who want to improve mental clarity and perhaps even lower the risk of developing chronic degenerative conditions like Alzheimer's by reducing inflammation.
What Are MCTs?
"MCTs" are naturally occurring saturated fats in certain foods like coconuts. Unlike long chain triglycerides (i.e., fats) which typically have between 13 and 21 carbon atoms to break down, these Medium Chain Triglycerides only have between 6 and 12, making them much easier to digest – they can be sent right from the stomach to the liver to get broken down into ketones, a type of acid which can be used as a source of energy by the muscles and the brain.
