Natural Support for Microbial Balance
Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (or "SIBO," for short) is a type of gut dysbiosis or imbalance where abnormally large numbers of bacteria, fungus, &/or parasites stubbornly take up residence in the small intestine where they can cause various types of gastro-intestinal symptoms and are difficult to remove.
Biotics Research has developed several products to help treat SIBO naturally with a blend of herbs and essential oils with anti-microbial properties to curtail that overgrowth, which they recommend taking together, for more serious cases. They are offered here together, in a monthly "kit."
What's Included
The three Biotics Research products included here are A.D.P.; BiomeBalance (previously known as 'Dysbiocide'); and FC-Cidal. Each comes in a 120 tablet (for ADP) or capsule bottle, which you take two each of, twice as day, so this kit constitutes a one month supply of all three.
As the licensed clinical nutritionist and nutritional practitioner Joe Buishas explains here in these "Tuesday Minute" videos, the normal course of medical treatment for SIBO is broad spectrum antibiotics for 2 to 3 weeks, but there are several drawbacks to those prescription drugs, which are set out in more in the details for Biome Balance.
In contrast, the natural ingredients in the SBO Kit (such as the emulsified oregano oil in the delayed-release ADP capsules) work pretty much just as well as those antibiotics, but with a more targeted action on the specific microorganisms found in SIBO and more localized effects, and without contributing to antibiotic resistance.

Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take two (2) tablets/capsules of each product three (3) times daily with meals as a dietary supplement or as otherwise directed by a healthcare professional.
Some practitioners also recommend that patients with SIBO adopt a low 'FODMAP' diet, at least until the situation improves, to avoid certain foods that are apt to become fermented in the small intestine and cause more gas, bloating, and pain if it gets overrun with bacteria or becomes too slow to pass the foods along to the large intestine. And for the most severe cases, some also recommend that you take some type of Berberine HCl daily, as well.
