The Boneco U200 has an adjustable mist output regulator, and an aromatherapy fragrance container so you can incorporate essential oils or scents of your own choosing into the mist.
New & Improved
The U200 Ultrasonic Humidifier has been upgraded since the original version featured in this video (it was also sold as the Air-O-Swiss U200 at one time). It is suitable for rooms up to 430 sq. ft./40m2 in size and can output 1.9 gallons per day, consuming about 20 watts an hour. Its removable tank, which can be filled right to the brim, holds 1 gallon (3.5 liters); you can about 10 hours of continuous running time per tank, if need be.

Compact & Quiet
It operates quite quietly, at a noise level less than 30 dB(A), and weighs just 4 pounds (1.8 kg) when empty, and is fairly compact (about 10 inches high, nearly 9-1/2" across and about 4-3/4" thick [26.3 x 24 x 12 cm]).
During operation, it should be elevated (placed on some sort of table, desk, shelf, counter, or chest of drawers, e.g.) away from a heating vent rather than placed on the floor, to enable to humidity to rise and circulate through the room rather than descending quickly to the floor, and it should also not be situated too closely to plants or electrical equipment, among other things.
Maintenance
For most users who live where there is municipally treated water supplies, it can be operated with ordinary fresh, cold, clean, contamination-free, tap water. But if your water source is contaminated or you are uncertain of its safety, or if it is 'hard' water leading to more white dust (which can result from the minerals in the water after the mist dries out) settling in your room than you are comfortable with, you should use distilled water. You should also clean and maintain your humidifier in a timely manner, as outlined in the manual.
To prepare for its first use or for subsequent replacements of its Aqua Pro 2-in-1 filter which reduces mineral deposits and odors, you should use the test strip which gets included that filter to test your water supply for an indication of how often to replace that filter, then run that filter under the tap for two minutes before (re)placing it the water tank to use it, as illustrated in the 12 panel product photo (which appears in the "Quick Manual" which ships with the unit).
Aromatherapy
In addition to being a humidifier, this unit also doubles as an ultrasonic aroma diffuser. You can place drops of essential oils or fragrances on a pad and load them in the tray, as shown here and at the end of the video.
