Info: Dozens of Kinds of Tea, either in Bags or Loose/Bulk
It all starts with the herbs. Celebration Herbals knows superior teas begin with fresh herbs that are grown and processed in the most natural way possible. Their teas have great tasting flavours combined with their unique therapeutic properties that will kick start your body's natural healing process. Celebration Herbals is proud to bring nature's pharmacy to you with their line of high quality herbal teas.
Herbal Teas have been used for centuries as a means of natural remedies for numerous health conditions such as Ginger Root Tea to ease nausea, Milk Thistle Tea for liver detoxification, or Senna Leaf Tea to relieve constipation.
Celebration Herbals' herbs are grown and harvested with the highest standards of quality control, as shown by their special designations: either certified organic (the vast majority of these), ethically wildcrafted (where indicated), or organically grown and pure quality (100% Pure). There are no added flavourings, preservatives or sweeteners of any kind in any kind.
They are committed to the environment: the boxes are made from 100% recycled board; a re-sealable freshness bag is used to extend the quality and life of the tea; and bulk packaging options allow you to make tea, herbal preparations, oils, ointments and extracts.
Certified Organic: All the herbs labeled as such on their box (there are several types marked with an * in our ordering menu above which are not) are cultivated by producers with a certified audit trail which validates the absence of chemicals from cultivation to packaging. Third party certification is always on file.
These great quality herbal products were made to be effective, great tasting, organic, and inexpensive alternatives to prescription drugs. Herbal teas are usually taken for their flavour and/or ability to subtly alter the body's chemistry. Either way, they are a strong tradition that continues today. Herbal teas have been the choice of healers all over the world for centuries. Although modern medicine has entered the scene, the ancient wisdom possessed by apothecaries should not be forgotten. It is an asset to mankind.
For just a quick brew or a pleasurable cup of tea, use one teabag per cup of hot water: place the teabag in an empty cup; pour the hot water over it; cover; and let it steep from 3 to 5 minutes, according to your taste.
To get the most medicinal benefit, use this method of brewing, known as the decoction method. Good water is an essential part of brewing great tea; it is recommended that you use spring or filtered water. Combine desired amount of herbs with good water in a stainless steel or glass pot. Heat mixture until it is vigorously boiling, then cover and let simmer 10 to 20 minutes. When the tea has steeped long enough, strain off the herbs using a tea strainer or coffee filter and enjoy. Extra tea can be kept in a covered glass jar for a few days in the refrigerator. Be sure to relax! Some of the most enjoyable aspects of tea are the calmness and ritual that surround it.
