Although Vitamin B-12 is produced by certain bacteria in the ground and makes its way into the food chain both through the vegetation and animals who've consumed it, vegans and vegetarians often tend to be short on it, since they don't consume the latter, and since the former isn't always as nutrient-dense as it needs to be (especially if it's grown hydroponically, or if all traces of the soil it was grown in have been washed off, especially with chlorinated water which kills even the beneficial bacteria). That's why it's nice to have a supplementary form of it available from a non-animal source (it's sourced from pure, pharmaceutical USP-grade Mecobalamin (Methylcobalamin), which is produced through a highly controlled synthesis and purification process, which starts by fermenting bacteria).
Vitamin B-12 is indispensable: it helps produce red blood cells (and helps prevent a form of anemia) and supports heart health; it supports energy and metabolism (by helping enzymes convert branched-chain amino acids and fatty acids); it plays roles in the synthesis of DNA, and in the normal myelination of neurons in the nervous system; and it promotes memory and concentration.

Suggested Usage:
Children or Adults: Shake bottle well before use. Spray 5 times directly into the mouth and swallow. Shake bottle well then press actuator down 3 or more times to prime pump. Each pre-metered non-aerosol spray delivers an active source of B-12. This delivery system is intended to maximize absorption into the circulatory system.
Store bottle at room temperature, in an upright position.
