Valerian is a tall, flowering grassland plant, with roots long used in herbal medicine to help people sleep when suffering from insomnia. More recently, there are some reports it can help people transition away from benzodiazepines (prescription sleeping pills).
Product Notes:
Valerian has also been used as a mild daytime sedative to relieve a number of psychological symptoms related to anxiety or stress such as nervousness, edginess, jitteriness or restlessness. Some also use it for reducing menstrual cramps or menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes.

Ingredients:
Each 1 ml contains:
250 mg Certified Organic Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) root (1:4 extract).
Non-medicinal ingredients: 60% Certified Organic Cane Alcohol, distilled water.
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take 1 to 3 ml, one to three times daily as a mild sedative. Take 1 to 4 ml once daily before bed as a sleep aid.
Warnings:
Do not use valerian if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not consume alcoholic beverages while taking this product. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking other sedatives. Do not use while driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery since this product may cause drowsiness. Consult a health care practitioner if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 2 weeks.
