Styrian Gold pumpkin seeds are grown organically in the state of Styria in Austria (or Steiermark, in the German language) and are certified GMO free.
Styrian pumpkins differ from the North American variety: although their actual fruit or pulp is not very appetizing to people, they have large, dark green seeds that grow without a shell, making them ready to eat raw and much easier to digest, and they have turned out to have medicinal value.
Raw Styrian Pumpkin Seeds are loaded with antioxidants and vitamins (including A, B1, B2, B6, C, and E), minerals (including calcium, iron, zinc, phosphorus, magnesium, selenium, and magnesium), polyunsaturated fatty acids (including both the omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids), amino acids and protein (including tryptophan), and fiber, making them a tasty superfood. And chief among their medicinal benefits is an apparent ability to prevent bladder and kidney irritations and to slow or even reverse benign prostate enlargement.
