Boneco - H300 or H400 Hybrid Humidifier and Air Purifier

Many of us keep our windows closed most of the time, so the air in our homes gets extremely dry in the winter, and filled with dust, dander, or other allergens and pollutants throughout the year. But who has the room - or the budget - to have two types of appliances with an overpowering presence in our main living or working area to take care of that? The versatile Boneco H300 system can improve your indoor environment by humidifying and purifying the air.

To treat the air, the BONECO HYBRID H300 Humidifier and Air Purification System combines:

1) A rotating evaporator mat assembly to 'wash' the water you add to the base of the unit first before emitting its vapours out the side and into the air (which minimizes the fine mineral deposit dust many humidifiers are plagued by);

2) A washable pre-filter to trap the hair, household dust, and other larger dirt particles suspended in the room air it draws through the top; which is then filtered through the next stage;

3) A particle filter which reduces up to 99% of the pollen and 97% of the other allergens and small particles over a six hour period in studio apartments, large rooms, or offices up to 540 square feet.

Optional Filters

There is also an optional type of filter available for this machine, which adds a layer of high-quality activated carbon granulate to eliminate odors and harmful gases. Both of these (the H300 POLLEN and H300 COMFORT filters) last about a year with normal operation, and are not nearly as expensive to replace as those for many air purifier brands.

In addition, there is an aroma compartment integrated into this unit which works with standard essential oils, so you can fill your home with your favorite comforting or soothing aroma at the same time you are keeping up its humidity.

The H300 is easy to operate, as either a humidifier or combination unit. You can simply turn it on to AUTO mode by pressing the large control knob once, for it to both purify the air and maintain the relative humidity at 50%, or follow up by turning that dial to one of six positions to obtain different levels of humidity. (And if you want to double the humidity output or forego the extra air purification, simply remove the pollen filter at the top of the unit.)

And to get more fine-tuned humidification levels or times as well as real time stats on the relative humidity in that room, there is a free app available for Bluetooth enabled devices such as mobile phones (with two versions available, for either Apple/IOS or Android devices), which enable you to specify your preferred humidification level, including turning the humidifier component off altogether to operate it solely as an air purifier during the warmer months. You can also select or customize several profiles, including one for supporting a restful sleep at night, or one for a baby's room. The H300 and H400 are also easier to clean and maintain than many types of humidifiers: rather than needing to be scrubbed by hand, most of the parts of their water base and drum can simply be put either in the dishwasher or the washing machine (for the removable evaporator mat itself).
