* In some regions, members of the upper classes used to wear extra long, pointed shoes, which weren't very comfortable or practical to walk in. As a sort of homage to that, Karl Müller designed this matte-black, brogue-patterned lace-up shoe with a backwards-facing point sewn onto it as many wingtip shoes have done over the years, and named it after the honorific term for scholar-officials in Korea (a place he studied and worked at, before starting his shoe companies).
